Abstract
this article discusses the description of phraseological units in the context of national and cultural characteristics, as well as the problems of their translation into the language of lexicography. The article also examines existing translation theories and their applicability to phrasemes, including the theory of dynamic equivalence of Nida and Newmark's communicative-semantic translation. A comprehensive model combining these theories is proposed, specifically designed to solve unique problems related to phrasemes.
