Abstract

In the modern world of foreign language learning, equal attention should be given to the development of all language skills. However, some language teachers tend to focus more on productive speech activities, such as speaking and writing, while neglecting receptive skills that are crucial for effective language acquisition and communication. This paper examines the use of digital technologies and online tools to develop learners' receptive skills. This article addresses the challenges of developing students' reading, speaking, and listening skills in language teaching. It will explore exercises for improving language hearing in schoolchildren, new methods for enhancing reading skills in the classroom, and the use of authentic materials in English lessons. Additionally, the article discusses the difficulties that students face during the learning process. Development of receptive skills plays a crucial role in language learning. Working in the right direction can help achieve good results and significantly improve language proficiency.
