Abstract
Phraseology is the most lively part of the language, the largest component of the common language, and its interpretation from the point of view of lexical-semantic relations, as well as the study of the semantic relations between zoophraseologies and the definition of the limits of these relations. From the point of view of cognitive linguistics, the analysis of such zoonyms is of particular importance. This article is devoted to the lexical-semantic study of phraseological units with a zoonymic component (in Uzbek and English).
