Abstract
The article explores the relationship between language and culture through the prism of verbal phraseological units (VFU). The article examines how these units reflect the cultural identity, social norms and historical contexts of English-speaking communities. The study of VFU provides a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the symbiotic relationship between language and culture, demonstrating how collective consciousness is reflected in language.
