Abstract
In order to make sure that students grasp the topic, it is crucial to provide them with brief explanations in the classroom. Students' logical thinking is reinforced and guided through inductive judgement when it comes to generalising. Leinhardt made a distinction between disciplinary and instructional kinds of teaching when it came to explanations. He contends that the goal of instructional explanations is to help students understand, learn, and apply information in a flexible way by making concepts, methods, events, ideas, and classes of problems clearer.
