Abstract

This article explores the author's skill in creating character through the protagonist's speech, using the example of Erich Maria Remarque novel “Three comrades” (Drei Kameraden). Analyzed an important role of the monologue and dialogue in the peculiarities of the protagonist Robert Lohkamp.
