Abstract

This article discusses the role of social networking sites and their possible effects in teaching a second language, mentioning the superiorities of You Tube, Skype, Twitter, Instagram and etc. It also highlights the importance of personalized language learning to boost language skills when SNS are used for educational purposes, besides, there are some differentiations between types of learning languages and their strength and weakness points mentioned.
